Job Title: Customer Service Operator - Freight Forwarding

Our company is looking for an experienced Customer Service Manager to join its team.

As a Customer Service Operator, you'll be the heartbeat of our operations, interfacing with customers, partners abroad, carriers, and other team members to manage cargo movements across global networks. Your ability to manage details and communicate effectively will be critical for this role.

Key Responsibilities :

• Managing end-to-end shipment process for assigned customers
• Responding to customer inquiries via email and phone in a timely and professional manner.
• Follow up cargo movements, providing updates to customers.
• Coordinating with partners abroad and carriers to manage smooth operations.
• Resolving service issues promptly and find alternative solutions
• Providing rate quotes and information regarding services to current and potential customers.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers to promote customer retention and satisfaction.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience in customer service or relevant role, preferably within the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Language proficiency in English and Greek is required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office and familiar with industry-specific software and systems.
• Knowledge of freight forwarding processes and regulations is a plus.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
• High school diploma required; a degree in logistics, business administration, or related field is preferred.
